Abstract

On July 16, 2017, I left Paris early, at 5:00 a.m, to drive past the Palais-Royal and the Louvre, along the river, under the Pont de Bercy glimpsing Perrault’s big library, the proliferation of tower cranes behind it, and on to Orly to meet the sun-rise ... to fly to Pisa ... to explore the hinterland of Heliopolis 21, for the first time, encouraged by my friend and colleague, Alessandro Melis.
