L'AI come partner dialogico e infrastruttura critica nella fase di Challenge e problem framing del Design Thinking
Abstract
L’integrazione dell’Intelligenza Artificiale nei processi progettuali sta ridefinendo non solo gli strumenti e le pratiche operative, ma anche le stesse condizioni epistemologiche della conoscenza nel progetto. Il contributo propone una lettura critica dell’AI come agente dialogico nella fase di ricerca e ispirazione del Design Thinking, superando una visione meramente strumentale o generativa. A partire dalla metodologia Enhanced (AI)nspiration e dalle sperimentazioni sulla fase creativa nell’uso dei sistemi text-to-image, il paper indaga il ruolo dell’AI come dispositivo cognitivo capace di amplificare l’esplorazione sistemica, la costruzione del problema e l’anticipazione delle conseguenze progettuali. Integrando Systems Thinking, Humanity-Centered Design e Research through Design (RtD), si propone una prospettiva che ridefinisce la creatività come processo co-evolutivo tra l’umano e la macchina, evidenziandone tensioni, limiti e potenzialità. Piuttosto che accelerare la produzione di soluzioni, questo lavoro propone di interpretare l’AI come infrastruttura epistemica all’interno del RtD, il cui valore risiede nella capacità di destabilizzare le assunzioni, ampliare il campo problematico e abilitare una costruzione critica delle domande di progetto.
