Context and fabric
Former Todi heliopolio in Todi, Perugia
Abstract
The former elaiopolio tuderte, overlooking the city walls of Orvieto's ring road, constitutes a non-theoretical exercise in contemporary architecture and places the scale of the fabric, the context, before that of the individual building, at the centre of the debate and design action, confronting the historic fabric and walls and the landscape downstream.
