Type, typology and hyperobjects

Keywords: architecture, hyperobjects, object oriented

Abstract

Types, Typologies and Hyperobjects are speculative exercises on the relationship between assemblage and form, presence and representation in architecture. A sequential manipulation process – via difference, repetition, scaling, distortion – challenges the static and reassuring idea of architectural composition in nine canonical case studies and explores the limits and possibilities of an Object-Oriented Ontology.
