Visions and Cities: Bari
The challenges of sustainability and resilience in the Metropolitan City
Abstract
The questions posed by the 2030 Agenda are oriented towards the issues of sustainability and resilience, outlining perspectives and action strategies to be undertaken for a shared commitment of civil society in the enlarged dimension of cities and territories. This contribution starts from a renewed need to reconstruct a new form of spatial and functional organisation, starting from the experiences carried out within the Third Mission of the Politecnico di Bari to direct public engagement towards the promotion of a new image of the city, landscape and agriculture, initiating shared paths towards an ecological transition.
