Abstract

European rural areas represent outstanding examples of cultural and natural heritage that need not only to be protected but also to be promoted as drivers for sustainable, growth and inclusive development. The following paper illustrates the good practices in resilient rural areas as part of the European project H2020 RURITAGE, based on the activation of the potential of local natural and heritage as a catalyst for resilience, economic competitiveness, and sustainable and inclusive growth of rural areas.
