Abstract

An old warehouse for mail trucks built in front of the Royal Palace of Caserta is an opportunity to realize a public project of high symbolic value. We do not demolish it so as not to produce waste to be sent to landfills in a land battered by toxic waste. Instead, we decided to do a plastic surgery that allowed us to transform a thing that already had a floor, a roof and foundations into a different space that turns its defects into merits.
