Strategies for a fragile territory

Abstract

Delta territories are globally at risk due to climate change, increasing urbanisation dynamics, and the artificialisation of the coasts. The challenge of addressing and managing the transformational processes of deltas in a more sustainable and integrated way has been embraced by the CITERlab UNIFE, combining university research, educational activities and the involvement of stakeholders and local communities, currently engaged in the development of a "Manifesto for the Po Delta".
