Abstract
University research laboratories can play a strategic role in relaunching the country's competitiveness; they produce knowledge, and transmit knowledge through experimentation, learning and its dissemination. Collectively, they act as innovational accelerators for society. Their contribution aims to reflect the common commitment between universities and the fabric of the communities in the process of regenerating small towns in the hinterland and urban peripheries by way of NRRP policies.
