Welfare infrastructure creation, strategic construction, and regen- eration: the experiences of Ostana, Saluzzo, and Salemi

Abstract

As a knowledge transfer and public outreach institution, the university often carries out applied planning research in close collaboration with local organisations and communities. One example of this is Ostana and the creation of welfare infrastructure as a regenerative tool, the case of Saluzzo and strategic regional construction, and the regeneration and development operations in Salemi. The three points share an instance of socio-cultural mediation as scientific conceptualisation.
