Design, investigating measurable spaces Introduction
Abstract
The title is inspired by an expression of Paolo Galli, one of the exponents of the 9999 group, during a lecture given in the Minerva Lecture Hall, Ricasoli, Faculty of Architecture, at the University of Florence, "We try to imagine and investigate measurable spaces and proximity through the pulsations we perceive from the volumes that delimit the space and welcome us". Imagining places for meeting and sharing through a technological process that includes a strong feeling on memory and sustainability to achieve a balance between man, nature and technology. Constructing space through imagination is to bring together nature and artifice, it is to bring together elements of different characters that make up the same 'substance', the space where man lives and realises relevant physical phenomena, necessary signals where things take shape and trigger functions that are consonant with the growth and well-being of society.
