Abstract

Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron's relationship with art, particularly contemporary art, goes beyond the purely functional and didactic aspects of a relationship between museum designers, art spaces in general, and the art discipline and is undoubtedly influenced by their living in Basel.
