The information chain in institutional climate change infographics, from data to recommendations

Abstract

Awareness about climate change, European Green Deal policies, and the PNRR in Italy have generated strategic-legislative paradigm shifts between 2017 and 2021. The present study questions the communication of these issues through the use of information design tools. In the study, infographics produced in three levels of action (global, European, national) by four institutions are considered. The objective of the research is to verify their content consistency and to analyze their strategies for displaying scientific data.
