AND – Architetture, città e architetti is a scientific journal with a full open access policy. All contents are freely available without charge to the reader or their institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, cite, or link to the full texts of the articles, and to use them for any other lawful purpose, without requesting prior permission from the publisher or the authors.

This policy complies with the definition of Open Access as stated in the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), which AND endorses.

License

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This allows anyone to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially), provided that:

• proper credit is given to the authors and to the journal;
• a link to the license is provided;
• any changes made are clearly indicated;
• no legal or technological restrictions are applied that would prevent others from doing anything permitted by the license.

Copyright and Authors’ Rights

Authors retain copyright of their works and may republish their content elsewhere (conference proceedings, edited volumes, other journals, etc.), provided that the original publication in AND is cited.

Authors are free to archive the pre-print, the post-print (accepted version), and the Version of Record (VoR) in institutional or disciplinary repositories, without embargo, under the same CC BY 4.0 license.

Archiving

The journal ensures the long-term preservation of all published contents through certified digital archiving systems such as LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, and the PKP Preservation Network.
