Abstract

The regeneration of the city and its buildings is currently at the centre of an important national and international debate. Therefore, dealing with issues such as the recovery and redesign of exist- ing architecture is in line with the positions that many architects take today. Nowadays, the attitude in the architectural field is more focused on transformation works than on ex-novo construction works. Projects such as the one proposed here pay attention to all those aspects that determine the well-being of the user who lives and moves within his or her own home. The aim is to recover the deepest sense of architecture that ultimately addresses the sense of living as a fundamental activity anthropologically linked to the very essence of man.
