SMN square
A new place to stay
Abstract
In 2007, the City of Florence, thanks to architect Maurizio Barabesi's project, started the recovery of the square to make it once again become for Florentines the meeting and communication place it has always been. The general design decisively recovers the one created by Porcinai in the 1940s but renounces the large central rhomboid flowerbed with its fountain.
