Reading the context
Longhi Architects, Pachacamac House
Abstract
Luis Longhi's ability to read the context, his strong link with Peruvian history and culture, and not least his ability to interpret the wishes of his clients, a couple of philosophers (figures, too, almost archaic in a hyper-technological world), have given rise to a unique architecture: the adjective is not meant to be an aesthetic qualification, although it could be, but has a literal value, of singularity.
